“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
Albert Einstein
Dear Soul Friends,
I hope you enjoy the smells of spring as they carry us across the threshold of the switching seasons.
Our life is built on cycles. Day flows into night flows into day. Spring flows into summer that flows into autumn that flows into winter. There is no beginning or ending. Just constant flow. Even our bodies are fluent, ebbing and flowing in “widening circles”, as Rilke so beautifully points out. Yet how do we discern if we are flowing or simply spinning? How can we naturally follow the current without losing direction? When we sail the sea, it is essential to set the sails accordingly to our desired destination. Of course, there is also beauty to be found in just floating, cradled by the rhythmical pulse of the water. There is a time for everything, and eventually we might feel the pull to lift the anchor and sail to new horizons. Sometimes, we simply are too scared that we won’t find what we are looking for, and we might be hesitant to embark on this journey, but when life’s storms pick up their pace, we might realise that we can’t delay our new adventure any further.
They say that we will find ourselves in the same situation over and over again if we don’t learn the lesson. I never truly resonated with this saying. It is stained with traces of shame and blame, and as much as I believe that we are creating our own life, I more and more understand that there is an underlying pulse of the earth that naturally helps us grow. Often, the situations we find ourselves in are not a repetition, they are an expansion of something we have already learned. As we inevitably grow on our way through life, we enter each similar situation with a different state of being, enabling us to make different choices and create new outcomes. No situation is truly the same, because we are not the same. Being confronted with another version of a lesson just helps us to deepen our experience. Much like diving deeper into the studies of a topic, we get the chance to broaden our view and expand our sacred vessel to fully feel what we were inviting to feel.
When I started to embark on my journey soulwards, I gathered a lot of information about who I am as a soul as well as a physical being. I learned about my soul types, about my mission here depicted in my channelled light name “Adamea”, about my past lives and quests that I am here to embark on. I also got to know my human self through exploring my love languages, attachment styles, communication patterns, ego pitfalls, human desires, wishes, beliefs and values. Anywhere I sailed, I collected these treasures, marking them on the map and now, when I look at this treasure hunt I can see the connections. Much like connecting dots of stardust it feels as if I more and more get a feeling of the full picture, painting constellations onto the canvas of my life, leaving room for mystery to reside in the spaces between.
Past life psychic Ainslie MacLeod states that, according to his spirit guides, “The experience is not the lesson. The spiritual lessons are what you take from the experience.” So why should we despair about a lesson that keeps repeating? It is the repetition that enables us to spiral deeper into the topic. Looking back I can definitely see which lessons I am here to learn, especially when I look at my old poetry from my teenage years. While Love is one main red thread in the story of my life, judgement, rejection and worthiness are the three common denominators in my life’s lessons. As I learn to embrace all feelings without judgement, I slowly get to the point where I enjoy the things I haven’t figured out yet. More and more I find myself with a slight excitement anytime I feel the universe is nudging me to dive deeper into some of my main life lessons. Don’t get me wrong, it feels utterly uncomfortable, yet by now, I have learned that discomfort means that huge growth is on the way.
“Round and round and round it goes - And where it stops nobody knows”
Gil Ofarim, lyric excerpt from the song “Round ‘n’ round”
I asked myself, what is the difference between a circle and a cycle? Circles can bring huge comfort. Communities have been gathering in circles for lifetimes. This ancient way of coming together is my favourite way to meet within a group. There is something powerful about sitting in a community, no front or back seats, just utter connection. When I was younger and learned about King Arthur and the Knights of the round table, I was enticed by the idea of leading from a space of equality. In a circle, power is created by the interconnectedness of the members that form the space, not by one person only. A circle also provides safety, but only when we feel we are part of the circle. When we are in the middle we might either feel exposed or smothered. In order to become part of a cycle, we need to become part of the circle. If we stand in the middle, trying to manage the circle like a circus director, our head will start spinning. We might feel as if we are in control, yet in reality we become encircled by our problems.
When we feel incomplete and are not connected to our wholeness, our energy field is porous. Boundaries don’t happen on the outside, creating boundaries means to grow into our wholeness until our membrane of soul is soft, flexible yet firm in its existence.

A porous energy field provides loopholes for other people’s energy to hook in. When we enter a relationship, searching for the “right fit”, we might start to become a well-working clockwork (see image), yet once we heal our wounds the clockwork might stop working. When we have lots of wounds, we might feel unsafe in bigger groups, as we tend to hook into the system instead of being able to participate from a place of wholeness. The word “worthy” comes from the Middle English word “worthen” and means “to come into being”. To feel worthy is therefore not a matter of value, but more a quest to fully get to know ourselves. A circle reminds us of our inner wholeness and gives us space to explore our inner world within a community that holds space for us.

When we are anchored in our innate wholeness, being in the middle of a circle can become comforting and we can face inner challenges while the group outside is holding space for us. The feeling of exposure by being in the centre transforms into a feeling of being held within a bubble of compassion. Whenever I hold a circle, host an event, have a talk or a one to one conversation, it is most important for me to hold the wholeness of the people around me in my mind and body. To me, there are no broken parts. We just have the beautiful quest to explore who we are without our wounds.
Our human body functions through circular movement. Our circulation makes sure that blood, nutrients and information are transported to wherever they are needed. These circular movements are part of a bigger cycle. Hormones, ageing, death and renewal are creating an energy flow that helps our journey flow smoothly. Each time we block the energy with our thoughts or unhealthy behaviour, we are interrupting the cycle. There is a fine line between surrender and letting ourselves be ruled by our body. The better we know our natural flow, the easier it gets to follow our internal cycles - whether they are our bodily cycles or the cycles of life lessons that we are undergoing.
So how do we navigate these cycles of life? How do we avoid spinning in circles and make sure we are spiralling instead? My drive to Dublin last week provided me - as so many of my travels - with huge insight. It is always a challenge for me to be on a highway with more than one lane, as I am navigating the roads in my left-hand drive. However, I have learned that with patience I still get to the destination. Thus, when I missed the exit for the first time, I immediately thought “Oh well, I will get there.”. The second time I failed to take the right turn I felt my ego flaring up. I took a deep breath and tried to pay attention to the still calm voice of the GPS. I thought “How wonderful that I know however long it will take me, the GPS will always point me in the right direction.” Then it struck me. Our intuition is just the same. Our inner guide will always point us in the right direction, and every extra turn we take will only help us to understand our life even better. We don’t miss out on anything, on the contrary, our experience is even deepened.
Maybe there is no such thing as a destination. Maybe life is drawing cycles onto our soul like rings on a tree, so that when we leave this physical plane we can say we have ripened, expanded and intertwined with the cycle of other humans, animals and lessons. A beautiful pattern of ripples, painted into calm waters, creating a mandala of mystery.
Talking about mystery - let’s explore this topic through the mystery of poetry. Here is my take on the circle of life. Listen to the audio here:
Circling Cycles
Cycling life
turns circles
into spiralled growing rings
around the soul
em-barking
upon
a brand new milky way
leaving thoughts, things,
words and whispers
g-littering along
the bay
wandering wonders
whisk waltzing ventures
cross the sea
while we whirl
and swirl
in silence
and breathe away
all agony
the dipper
takes us fast
into the loops of Love
and pain
the only compass
is the centre
unclenching links
of chain
clicking things
into place
channel thoughts into lane
how to enjoy
the wild ride
the ups and downs
that leave us dizzy
we won’t be winning
by being busy
when the head keeps spinning
going for another round
of applause
the secret sauce
–
is in the pause
Sadhbh AdameaI have been quieter these days as I am undergoing some curious cycles and readjust my sails. As a thank you to my paid subscribers for forming a special circle of connection, I am offering you my Energy Meditation “Protect Your Field” for free. As always, I will send you the coupon code in a different email.
If you feel called to purchase the meditation for 6 Euros, just head over to my website to download it. Of course, you can always upgrade your subscription and support my art with 5 Euros a month.
If you rather meditate on spirals, here is a short video that may help you to breathe deeply for a moment:
Diving into our inner world begins with opening our heart. Through this door we can enter into a whole new realm. My channelled poetry provides you with the key, so that the energy can flow freely. People that receive a poem say “This is just what I needed to hear”, “I feel lighter” or “This changed something in me”. If you feel called to receive a poem for yourself, head over to my website. I also have gift certificates, in case you need a Mother’s Day present. :-)
Thank you so much for reading my words and for cycling in the orbit of words with me. Maybe, by finding our innate cycle, we can exit the dizzy roundabout of history. One by one. Pause by pause. Heartbeat by heartbeat.
Have a beautiful, wonderful and magical week!
Lots of Love,
Always feel free to reach out if you need a helping hand, a kind word, encouraging conversation or simply someone who listens.

Sadhbh, Thank You. I always leave here learning. Taken to doors. Given a new lens. A deeper breath. A portal. Cycles. “The experience is not the lesson. The spiritual lessons are what you take from the experience.” Discomfort signals growth is on the way. Circles. Safety. Interconnectedness. Wholeness. Circulating into a cycle. Spiralling. I love the way you lead us into a different way of seeing that is always topped off by a poem that strips us naked and wanting more. Beautiful post. So much here. Thank you for being here. ❤️💫🙏
Worthen Spring!
